What is Trash Talk?
Before we dive right into about who we are, the basics have to be covered first. What is trash talk? According to Google’s online dictionary, trash talk is defined as “insulting or boastful speech intended to demoralize, intimidate, or humiliate someone, especially an opponent in an athletic contest.” Shit talk, another term for trash talk, means to talk badly about something or somebody. These definitions ARE NOT ACCURATE in our eyes. Our definition of trash talk is a necessary emotional release that relieves unconscious conflicts. Some situations might have you tense and overcome with frustration. Trash talking helps release that frustration and tension. Enough is enough and it’s time for a new dose of reality!

One of the Lets Trash Talk podcast hosts is Ed. He loves to trash talk. His views cannot be classified as conservative or liberal, they just are what they are. Some people might say he’s a little pessimistic. He prefers to call it being realistic. After years of yelling at the television, cursing at the newspaper, and punching computer monitors, Ed finally decided that it was time to let his opinions and voice be heard. Thus, the Lets Trash Talk podcast was born. Ed loves to watch tv, read books & articles, listen to all different types of music, and playing video games. He hates when he gets bamboozled by friends and family.
